Coordination compounds Lecture 01 notes

Coordination Compounds are special kind of compounds in which Central Metal atoms or ions are surrounded by ions/molecules beyond their normal Valency .

In Lecture 01 we discuss about General Introduction of Coordination compounds and examples, Basic Terms like coordination sphere or coordination entity, ligands, types of ligands : unidentate ligands, bidentate ligands, polydentate ligands, ambident ligands, chelation and chelate effect with some problems.
